USDA: NITC Web Farm Surveillance and Lenel Integration4300

This was a 2 phase project in partnership with WWT that provided IP video surveillance for USDA/ NITC, with integration to the Lenel access control system. This system consists of (3) Vicon Network Video Recorders, (3) External 3TB RAID storage units, (8) 22x zoom PTZ’s, (60) dome mega pixel cameras, and (12) panoramic dome mega pixel cameras. This system was integrated with a Lenel access control system with a Vicon integration software package. Included in this system is Vicon video analytics software to prevent tailgating through access control doors. Phase 1 included (1) NVR, (1) RAID, (10) fixed dome IP cameras, (2) 22x zoom PTZ’s, (1) local monitoring station and (2) remote monitoring stations in Kansas City, MO.

USDA: Bldg. 104 and 105 Data and fiber installation for office and Data Center4300

This project was a joint effort with WWT.  The project consisted of the installation of more than 12,000’ of fiber optics, 12 IDF’s, 6,000 Category 6 data cables for the office and over 1,000 Category 6 Data cables for the Data Center. USDA was relocating thousands of employees from their downtown St Louis location to this facility. All moving schedules were managed by WWT and Rick Coltrane including the move of their data center.

Scott Air force Base: 
US Transcom IP Phone Deployment for Bldg 1900W

Rick Coltrane in cooperation with World Wide Technologies managed the implementation of this project. The project consisted of installing all Cisco switches (6500’s and 4500’s) to designated MDF’s and IDF’s, patching all backbone fiber into the systems for network connectivity, patching all field locations into the switches, creating a port map for each switch, placing, programming and testing all phones. Project included the installation of approximately 16,000 fiber and copper patches, 3,200 Nortel IP phones, 1,000 Cisco IP phones, 900 media convertors, 800 analog devices and facilitating all moves and changes.

WWT Corporate Low Voltage Systems

This project includes the design and installation of all low voltage systems for WWT including access control, CCTV, fire alarm, white noise, fiber optics and intrusion. The security systems include approximately 225 access doors and Vicon CCTV system including, (35) Vicon DVR’s, (450) Fixed cameras, (5) 23x zoom PTZ’s, (2) monitoring stations with Vicon Virtual Matrix and (2) badging stations. This system is connected across WWT’s WAN, which includes 30 remote sites. This system was designed to provide local monitoring in Saint Louis for all WWT remote facilities. These remote facilities are a mixture of warehouse and office space. All dock doors, card access doors and emergency exit doors are monitored with the Vicon CCTV system. Coltrane Systems has most recently worked hand in hand with Legacy Group on the new WWT headquarters and ATC data center.

Bethesda Health DSX Access Control

This project is still being implemented. Coltrane Systems has been tasked with converting all (10) Bethesda locations to DSX access control. Three locations have been completed and all Active Directory Databases have been integrated with the DSX Comm server database to eliminate duplicate data entry. All employees added into Active Directory are automatically uploaded to DSX as a cardholder with all employee information and photos.
